New Releases of the Week: A Legendary Saga

The Prime Video new releases agenda from February 12 to 18, 2024 includes a completely iconic cinema franchise. The first season of a real monument for TV series also took its first steps very recently.

After revealing all of the Netflix releases of the week, we focus on all the Prime Video additions of the following days. Recently, Amazon's video streaming platform added two romantic comedies just before the lovers' holiday. The excellent Happiness Therapy with Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro is available, with the film Outclassed. Will subscribers be able to watch great things in the new Prime Video releases for week 7? Oh yeah ! Five films, including four from a global hit saga, join the catalog from this Thursday, February 15, 2024. Heady music by John Williams, a legendary adventurer/archaeologist/teacher and Harrison Ford in the lead role: the Indiana Jones quadrilogy disembarks. Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Temple of Doom, The Last Crusade and Kingdom of the Crystal Skull are making a small disloyalty to Paramount+. No need to introduce them, but for the youngest, it’s a must-see.

Prime Video is full of adventurous humor with the arrival of Jumanji Next Level in its line-up from February 12 to 18, 2024. In this sequel, Spencer returns to the oh-so-dangerous game of Jumanji, and could well lose his life there. Inside, everything has changed and the environment is more hostile than ever. To help him overcome these dangers, his team also returns to Jumanji. “A lazier and overly long sequel. Fortunately the casting performs the show to perfection” (via CinéSérie).

Don't look for new series on Prime Video from February 12 to 18, 2024, because the program is identical to last week. But if you missed the previous news, there was something new with the French production Nudes. “Three teenagers will each find themselves confronted with the problem of nudes in a different way. Caught in the turmoil, they will have to regain control of their lives” (via Prime Video). All eight seasons of the CW's DC show, Arrow, are also available along with the first episodes of Mr. and Mrs. Smith. The “Amazon Original” creation for this month of February 2024.

But if you are looking for a series that will leave an impression on you, the platform has what you need. Season 1 of The Wire, a cult HBO series, can be watched by all subscribers and not just Warner Pass holders. A realistic show where police officers and drug traffickers clash, but which also highlights different themes depending on the season. It's not too late to discover this gem of the small screen.
