New Release: Update 1.1.1 Brings Bug Fixes and Fresh Content

The developers at Naughty Dog have released a new update for the remastered version of “The Last of Us: Part 2” under version name 1.1.1. New content as well as bug fixes and minor improvements are offered.

On the official website The developers at Naughty Dog confirmed that the latest update for “The Last of Us: Part 2 Remastered” can now be downloaded.

The patch in question has the version name 1.1.1 and, with a concept drawing for the “WLF Reversible Skin”, offers new content in the “Extras” section of the game. In addition, the developers said they addressed various errors that the community had complained about since launch.

For example, Update 1.1.1 will fix an issue with the save import of your PS4 data that could result in trophy progress not syncing correctly.

According to Naughty Dog, the bug that led to deteriorating performance during longer sessions has also been addressed.

  • Fixed an issue where chained Clickers could go into T-pose when hit with Molotov flames.
  • Fixed an issue where bloaters in Holdout would focus more on comrades than the player.
  • Fixed an issue where the player could fall through the ground in Seraphite Forest when hit.
  • Fixed an issue where the in-game camera could get stuck if the player was hit at the workbench.
  • Fixed minor localization issues throughout the game.

“The Last of Us: Part 2 Remastered” was released in January 2024 for the PS5. In addition to various technical improvements that give the celebrated campaign a new shine, there is also various new content on board.

This includes the roguelite mode called “No Return”, in which you take on the role of well-known characters such as Ellie, Joel or Abby and tackle missions with which you unlock various rewards and new skills.
