After releasing a new trailer last week, Codemasters today presents the gameplay of EA Sports F1 24 in depth.
F1 24 details its gameplay
This new trailer details the various new features brought to the gameplay and car physics. The studio notably revised the feeling of the suspensions, to give the single-seaters a more realistic and dynamic behavior:

Spring and damping forces have also been revised, adding a realistic feel of weight distribution when the car is subjected to different load levels.
This means you have more options for configuring your vehicle and have greater control during racing. These suspension model updates are some of the most significant in franchise history.
The simulation of tire wear has also been improved and we should therefore better feel its impact on the car's performance:
Our all-new thermal model provides an accurate representation of the effects of heat on tire grip, and its impact on the overall performance of the car.

Smooth driving in clean air slows down tire wear, while pushing the car to its limits in dirty air has the opposite effect.
The studio also mentions having completely revised the aerodynamics of the single-seater and redesigned its aspiration model via a virtual wind tunnel, while the DRS mechanics have also been improved.
Finally, the ERS setting makes its return in all sessions and the game will obviously also take into account the performances of the official teams to have a realistic grid hierarchy depending on the Grands-Prix.
The least we can say is that these new features should delight fans. F1 24 will be released on May 31, 2024 on Xbox One, Xbox Series
