Two very important characters for Superman have finally found their actors!

The film will arrive on July 11, 2025 and intends to seriously kick in the anthill. After a Man of Steel played by Henry Cavill who knew how to wear tights like no other, it is now actor David Corenswet who will don the cape.

The hero will be surrounded by well-known characters from the license, such as Lois Lane (Rachel Brosnahan), Lex Luthor (Nicholas Hoult), Supergirl (Milly Alcock), Metamorpho (Anthony Carrigan) or even Hawkgirl (Isabela Merced), to name but a few. 'them. But two other people who were so important to Superman didn't yet have identities: his parents.

But it's now done since Martha and Jonathan Kent now have a face! The young hero's adoptive mother will be played by Neva Howell, an actress who has worked quite a bit in a few films in addition to making numerous appearances in series like Outcast.
On screen, she will be married to Pruitt Taylor Vince who will play Jonathan Kent, or Pa Kent for this new feature film. The recognizable actor among a thousand has also appeared in many feature films as Marvel's Agent of SHIELD or The Walking Dead And Identity.

A film that could change everything

Two new faces that we will be able to discover from 2025 on the big screen. Superman will have very big responsibilities on his shoulders and he will have to give everything to restart the machine. The DCU has so far almost only gone wrong and a reboot can only do it good. For its part, Marvel has taken a hit. The latest films are not great successes, although they have made money, and even the backstory, which is the point of all this interconnected cinema, is taking on water and getting lost a little.
