Festival of laughter and humor “Kuldor-kaldor” will be held in Mordovia
In the village of Podlesnaya Tavla, Kochkurovsky district of Mordovia, on August 13, the IV Interregional Festival of Finno-Ugric laughter and humor “Kuldor-kaldor” will take place. About it informs media project “National Accent” with reference to the Volga Center of Finno-Ugric Peoples’ Cultures.
The event will be attended by satirical writers, cartoonists, authors of variety works, actors and amateur artists from Mordovia and other Finno-Ugric regions of Russia.
Comic contests, a lottery, an exhibition of cartoons and caricatures, master classes, as well as the Tavlinsky Arbat fair will be organized for festival guests.
The festival will be held by the Volga Center of Finno-Ugric Peoples’ Cultures with the support of the Ministry of Culture, National Policy and Archives of the Republic of Mordovia.
Earlier it was reported that the republican festival of Mordovian culture “Shumbrat!” was held on August 5 in the Bashkir Sterlitamak. The event is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the regional public organization “Mordovia National Cultural Center of the Republic of Bashkortostan”. For the guests of the event, a festive concert and a series of master classes on Mordovian folk art were held, as well as acquaintance with the ethnographic exhibition “Mordva. 300 years in kurai inflorescence.
