Image Playground
When you have updated iOS and enabled Apple Intelligence, a new app pops up on the home screens. It's called Playground and lets you get AI to create images based on your keywords. If you have not received it, you just have to wait and it should show up.
So here you can get the phone to illustrate exactly what you want. In addition to creating images in the app itself, Image Playground is also available from other apps. So if you want to add an image to notes (or notes as it is called in English iOS), Image Playground is included in the menu there to insert content. Then you can directly write from within notes write keywords and post the image created. If you are not satisfied with the first, you can wrap it aside for the system to create more options based on the same instructions. Alternatively, you can of course adjust your keywords to get a different result.
With Image Playground you can also use a picture of yourself to put an image in different fun or imaginative situations. The appearance of the image is based on the image you choose and it rarely becomes portrait -like, but at least quite similar.
Visual intelligence
The function called Visual Intelligence is a function you can access via the phone's camera team and this allows you to get information about what the cameras see. At least that's the idea. Today, Visual Intelligence is quite limited. You can direct the camera at, for example, a flower and with a little luck, the iPhone can guess what flower it is. I also try other motifs, such as books, wine bottles, kitchen utensils, furniture, paintings, yes everything I have at home, but it is only flowers that it reacts to.
Basically, Visual Intelligence is three -part in the function. The foundation is the one I just went through and it stands for. When it recognizes a flower, you can click more information that often comes from Wikipedia.
If you want further information, whatever it may be displayed in the screen, you can call external services. Here, both Google and Chat GPT are available. Google is basically image search, so you can get images similar to the one you have taken and then ask follow -up questions or specify your search further in words.
With Chat GPT you can ask questions about the picture and what is visible there. Then it also works in Swedish and this applies to both Chat GPT and Google.
Writing help
With writing assistance you have easy access to corporate reading and tools to get texts you have written processed, no matter what app you work in. It can thus be anything from a text message to a longer email or notes. Writing aid, or as it is called in English, Writing Tools, is available directly in the keyboard, or rather in the text marking tool. So you write your text as usual and when you are done and want it processed by AI, mark the whole piece. You will arrive a tool and in that line you choose Writing Tools. In the next step you can choose whether you want the text proofreading, get it rewritten in another tone or summarized so that it becomes shorter. You can choose to have the text kindly formulated or more professional and accurate.
Genmoji
With Genmoji you can create endlessly with emojis based on your own keywords. You can combine multiple words and if you want, you can use a photo on yourself or someone else as a starting point for the person in the picture. You can find Genmoji in the regular emoji field in the keyboard and by clicking on Genmoji and then enter keywords your AI emojis are generated. These are easy to add whether it is in a text message or an email, as it is always available in the keyboard.
Summaries
In e-mail and longer text messages and SMS threads, you can get the field that allows you to summarize, or in English Summarise by swiping from the top down. At the top of the page you will find the choice for Summarise and it assumes that the entire email or message is in English for it to work. When we test in Swedish language, we constantly receive only error messages
Siri and chat gpt
Sure, in her new form Siri would be one of the biggest news in Apple Intelligence, but today the changes are mainly cosmetic. By holding the side button or saying Hey Siri, the screen is surrounded by a colorful glow. Then you can continue to ask (remember that you have to do it in English) but the biggest difference to the past is really the integration of Chat GPT here. Siri itself cannot actually answer more questions than before, but instead of asking if she should search the internet for what you wondered, you can now choose to pass the question to Chat GPT instead. If you do, you have to wait another ten seconds before a response pops up.
