Meta presents it as much more intelligent than its predecessor, even superior to the competition, and is banking on its capabilities to become a giant in generative AI, ahead of OpenAI and Google.

To overtake the two AI giants, Meta has a major asset: the three billion users of Facebook, Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp. Meta AI, its competitor to ChatGPT currently only available in English, is migrating today to Llama 3, replacing Llama 2. The site Meta.ai also allows you to chat with the chatbot, in countries where the service is available (the European Union is not one of them). Meta's objective is clear: to put AI everywhere, in services that we use every day.
