Fourth part of the reboot series

Now it's Planet of the Apes: New Kingdom (the original title is Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes) the fourth part of the reboot series is in the starting blocks. Matt Reeves and Rupert Wyatt directed the previous parts. Now, however, Wes Ball is taking responsibility. As a director, Ball was also responsible for the three Maze Runner films.

Planet of the Apes: Survival already offered a good ending and what's more, the 20th Century Studios acquired by Disney in 2019 became. So will the new film be a monkey business or can the film assert itself as a blockbuster? Early reviews are positive and believe that Planet of the Apes: New Kingdom has evolved in terms of both shooting and visual effects.

Disney has also laid the foundation for a bold new trilogy. The title will always have to deal with the Matt Reeves comparisons, but with this part it is clear that the franchise definitely doesn't need to hide.

Reviews on Rotten Tomatoes
