Mega development and limited time

One A Pokémon's Mega Evolution only lasts for 8 hours. Once the time is up, the pocket monster will return to its normal form. In addition, you can only mega evolve one Pokémon. If you develop a second pocket monster into a Mega Pokémon, your first Pokémon will revert back to its original form.

In the detailed view of your Pokémon you can see how long the pocket monster will retain its mega form. In order to mega evolve, you not only need the Pokémon itself, but also the so-called Mega Energy.

After a Mega Evolution, a Pokémon requires one rest period (more on this below). While During this time, it cannot evolve into a Mega Pokémon again. However, you can shorten the rest period if you use Mega Energy. Pokémon with a high Mega level (more on that below) also have a shorter rest period than others.

This is how you get mega energy

Before you evolve a pocket monster into a Mega Pokémon, you need Mega Energy. It can be collected through the associated raid battles and can then be given to your desired Pokémon. The defeated Pokémon in the raid battle drops Mega Energy for its own kind.

In Mega Raids can you Earn up to 90 Mega Energy. Maximum can you possess an amount of 9999 Mega Energy. How much Mega Energy you receive per Mega Raid also depends on how quickly you complete it:
