2023 marks the 40th anniversary of McDonald’s Chicken McNuggets, which is why the company has launched a patty giveaway campaign in most countries to celebrate the holiday.
In China, chicken lovers will get something more fun: Tetris. More precisely, a toy from McDonald’s in the form of a chicken nugget that can be used to play Tetris.
This strange joint action is in honor of the 40th anniversary of the McNuggets and Children’s Day, which is usually celebrated on June 1 in China. McDonald’s has other Children’s Day events, but the Tetris nugget is by far the most…attractive.
In some stores in mainland China, Tetris is offered with any order for an additional 30 yuan, which translates into about 338 rubles. The small laptop also comes with a protective case, so you don’t have to worry about scratching it if you take it with you.
The design of the portable device, of course, leaves much to be desired. In fact, it’s hardly even pleasant to hold, especially considering that the plastic has to be textured, like the coating of a chicken nugget. Nevertheless, no matter how ugly he may look, I’m glad the collection can be bought, right? Yes?
Only 400,000 of these Tetris were released throughout the country. If you are in China – look at the nearest Mac, you may have time to buy a souvenir.
