The new Avengers films are after numerous postponements still a long way from their respective cinema releases. But the current films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe are already preparing for the return of what is probably the greatest superhero group of all time. But there doesn't seem to be much left of the old glory of Infinity War and Endgame.
When are the new Avengers films coming to cinemas?
A look at the Marvel calendar shows: a little patience is still required. Avengers 5 is scheduled to be released in Germany on April 30, 2026 come to the cinemas. Almost exactly a year later follows Avengers: Secret Wars on May 6, 2027. However, something is striking here.

While the sixth film in the superhero group already has a title, we still know relatively little about Avengers 5. There is a very specific reason for this. Actually, the new movie should have the addition to its name The Kang Dynasty carry. Since Ant-Man and the Wasp: Qantumania however failed with the audience (there were hails of boos) and actor Jonathan Majors was fired by Disney, the plot probably needs to be changed completely.

Who is starring in the new Avengers film?
Since the new Captain America is apparently reflecting on his old strengths and using this Star Wars legend as “Red Hulk” to tell the prequel to Avengers 5, it can be assumed with fair certainty that Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson will play one of the main roles. A well-known Marvel insider sees it similarly and brings other names into play.

So should the Hulk and Spider-Man playing roles in Avengers 5. From However, Thor is not mentioned. Instead they supposedly have the Moon Knight and She-Hulk a leadership position the “new” Avengers. I'm sorry, what?
The Marvel Cinematic Universe doesn't differentiate between TV and cinema, but the series stars always have a bit of an impact on Disney Plus like the second guard of the MCU. It remains to be seen whether these heroines and heroes, who could take the place of Iron Man and Black Widow, have what it takes to attract millions of fans to the cinemas Avengers 5 then prove it.
