“In terms of play, the theme of freedom is clearly in the foreground, be it in the now much more open areas that we are allowed to explore or in terms of the combat system. This allows us to adapt even more to our own ideas,” we conclude.

“In this way, the already very good combat system of the predecessor is sensibly expanded to include new mechanics such as synchro actions, which we no longer want to be without.”

Up to 100 hours of playtime

The story of “Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth” follows seamlessly from the events of the first act of the remake. After Cloud and his friends manage to escape from Midgar, the motley crew travels across the planet and is confronted with the cunning plans of the iconic villain Sephiroth.

According to their own statements, the developers placed great emphasis on an exciting story, the open world and all sorts of secrets and side activities that will keep you busy for a long time. If you really want to see everything, you can spend up to 100 hours in the world of “Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth”.
