The story is that of Franck Lazarref, a man with a troubled past who has just escaped a murder attempt. After this event, he is faced with the kidnapping of his wife by armed men. He then sets out to find her, delving into a state affair linked to events he experienced years ago. Following in Leo's footsteps, it's a manhunt deadly that starts.

Beautiful names on display
Ad Vitam brings together several names known to the public. Rodolphe Lauga will thus be behind the camera, but not only. Close collaborator of Canet with whom he had co-written Rock'n'Roll together alongside Philippe Lefebvre, he also wrote the screenplay for this new project. This is his fifth film as a screenwriter.
The actor, for his part, will share the screen with Nassim Lyeswho recently starred in Farang, and Zita Hanrot who, in addition to her participation in the Netflix romantic comedy Plan Cœur, played a moving CPE in the film School Life. Finally we will also find Stephane Caillard (Furie) and Alexis Manenti (Les Misérables). However, their roles have not yet been announced.
To bring the project to fruition, Guillaume Canet also wears the hat of producer, in the same way as Jean Cottin. The man was also behind, among others, Public Enemy No. 1 with Vincent Cassel and En Solitaire with François Cluzet. Ad Vitam would be planned for 2025exclusively on Netflix.
