This in turn runs from April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026. This means that fans still do not have a specific release date. But if the calendar year stays at 2025, there will be “only” a window of nine months.

The current information also leaves open the possibility that, in the worst case scenario, “Mafia: The Old Country” could not come onto the market until 2026. We will find out more in December.



What awaits players in Mafia: The Old Country?

Developer Hangar 13 hasn’t revealed a lot of details about “Mafia: The Old Country” yet. But at least there is a rough direction. The players end up in Sicily in the 1900s and thus in the early days of the mafia.

The team attaches great importance to a production that is as authentic as possible, so a Sicilian language version is planned, among other things. In general, the release of the new game is intended to herald a kind of soft reboot of the franchise.
