Lords of the Fallen: Update 1.5.36 fixes crashes & improves performance

With update 1.5.36, the developers at Hexworks are once again fixing various errors that “Lords of the Fallen” had to struggle with so far. In keeping with this, it was announced that the role-playing game is making its way to Xbox Game Pass.

Even more than half a year after the release of “Lords of the Fallen”, the developers at Hexworks continue to make improvements. After the so-called “Master of Fate” update the RPG at the end of April made something easierthe next patch is now available.

This was released under version 1.5.36. According to official information, the patch fixes a bug that could occasionally lead to crashes in “Lords of the Fallen” multiplayer. Hexworks also improved performance and addressed the problem that items sometimes could not be moved from the chest into the inventory as intended.

The official changelog tells you which other bugs are a thing of the past thanks to update 1.5.36.

  • Fixed an issue that prevented users from transferring items from their chest to their inventory.

Vicinity:

  • Fixed a visual error caused by a mud element near the Shrine of Adyr.
  • Fixed an issue that allowed users to escape an invaded zone by jumping onto environmental objects near the graveyard at the Shrine of Adyr.

performance:

  • The shader compilation timer has been increased to 10 minutes to allow for longer shader compilation on lower performance hardware. We've also updated the shader compilation text to reflect that this process can occur every time the game starts.

Crashes:

  • Fixed a rare crash that could occur under special circumstances during multiplayer invasions.


In addition to the release of update 1.5.36, CI Games and Hexworks confirmed the rumors about the inclusion of “Lords of the Fallen” in Xbox Game Pass. It was announced when subscribers to Microsoft's subscription service would be allowed to play the dark role-playing game official press release unfortunately not available.

It is also unclear whether and when PlayStation Plus could also be supplied with “Lords of the Fallen”. The role-playing game was released in October 2023 for the PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
