Live service support is discontinued, new feature is coming

“Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League” will not receive any further content after the fourth season. But what happens to the game after that?

After months of speculation, Rocksteady has officially confirmed that “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League” There will be no new content after Season 4. This decision marks the end of live service support.

First, however, players can plunge into the new content: The fourth season starts on December 10, 2024 with episode 7 and ends with episode 8, which will be published on January 14, 2025.

Suicide Squad gets offline functionality

According to the official FAQ overview Rocksteady will continue to support the online functions of “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League” after Season 4. This means players can continue to play cooperatively with friends and access all previously released seasonal content.

Additionally, an offline mode will be introduced as part of the Season 4 update. This allows players to experience the main campaign and seasonal story missions without an internet connection. Of course, in order to use the game in online co-op mode, an internet connection is still required.

“Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League” will remain available for purchase even after the end of the fourth season. Accordingly, deleted versions of the title can also be re-downloaded without any problem. The in-game store and the virtual currency LutherCoin will also continue to function as usual.

While existing features will remain, Episode 8 will be the final seasonal content for the game. The FAQ overview also indicates that there will be no new balance updates, bug fixes or other changes after Season 4. Rocksteady has not made any statements regarding long-term server availability.
