Life By You: A Competitor to The Sims Fails to Deliver on Promised Potential

Fans of life simulations have been looking forward to the release of Life By You for over a year now – but now they have to accept another serious blow. Will The Sims competitor ever get out of development?

Life By You: Simulation postpones release

Actually Life By You should start its early access release on June 4, 2024 – so the date was just two weeks away, but now developer Paradox Interactive has announced that the date has to be postponed. It is the third time that the launch has been delayed; the game was originally expected for September 2023. Then it was said that Life By You would be released in March 2024 before being announced for June 4th.

However, the current situation is likely to be particularly painful for the community because no new release date has been announced. In a short statement on the developer's website, deputy CEO Mattias Lilja only announced that the simulation had to be postponed because more development time was needed. A new release date has not yet been announced, because the developer cannot currently be sure whether this can be adhered to. (Source: ParadoxInteractive)
