Huge leak
New leaked images provide a clear preview of Samsung’s upcoming foldable phones and smartwatches ahead of the July 22 launch.
Samsung is preparing several big launches ahead of its event on July 22. New leaked images, including from the publication Android Authorityshows how the company’s upcoming folding mobiles and smartwatches may look, and gives a clear picture of what changes are expected in this year’s models.
Galaxy Z Fold 8
The latest leaks show that the Galaxy Z Fold 8 gets a wider outer display than previous models. It makes the phone look less slim and can be easier to use when closed, especially for instant messages and apps that otherwise felt cramped. The colors seen in the material are Cream, Graphite and Lavender, and an additional color called Pistachio will be exclusive to Samsung’s own store.
The phone should weigh around 200 grams, which makes it a few grams lighter than the Fold 7. On the inside, it is expected to have the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy, 12 GB of RAM and storage options up to 1 TB. The cameras are believed to consist of a 50-megapixel main camera and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, which suggests that Samsung is betting on stable and well-known technology rather than big changes.
Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra
According to the leaks, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra looks to retain the same basic design as last year’s model. This means that Samsung seems to be focusing more on improvements on the inside than on a completely new look. The Ultra model will have the same processor and RAM as the Fold 8, and will appear in the colors White, Black and Purple.

The camera setup is more advanced than on the regular Fold 8. According to the information, the Ultra gets a 200-megapixel main camera, a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. Although the hardware is similar to previous Ultra models, Samsung can improve picture quality through software, such as better image processing and light management.
Galaxy Z Flip 8
Leaked images also show the Galaxy Z Flip 8 from all angles, giving a clear picture of what the new foldable model might look like. It comes in the colors Graphite, Cream and Pink, and a fourth color – Mint – is believed to be exclusive to Samsung’s webshop.

The Flip 8 looks to get two different chips depending on the region: the Exynos 2600 in some countries and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy in others. The battery should be around 4,174 mAh, with a typical capacity of 4,300 mAh. The cameras are expected to be a 50-megapixel main camera and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera.
Leaked European prices point to the Flip 8 being more expensive than last year’s model. The 256 GB version will cost 1,299 euros, while the 512 GB model will cost 1,499 euros. This suggests that the Flip series is also affected by increased component costs.
Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 and Galaxy Watch 9
Images of Samsung’s upcoming smartwatches have been published. The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 and Galaxy Watch 9 seem to continue with the same design style as previous models, meaning rugged shapes and a sporty feel for the Ultra model, and a more classic round design for the Watch 9.

The Ultra 2 is shown in Gray and Silver, while the Watch 9 is seen in Cream, Green and Graphite. The leak focuses mainly on the looks, but it’s clear that Samsung wants to fine-tune details rather than make big changes. Both watches will be presented together with the new phones at Galaxy Unpacked on July 22, making the event one of the biggest Samsung releases of the year.
