Here is the complete schedule of new Netflix releases from April 29 to May 5, 2024. A huge new French series that risks being a hit is coming, with big films and adaptations of cult works.
We're starting a new week and we're obviously starting it with the new Netflix releases for the current month and the first days of May. From April 22 to 28, 2024, the platform offered subscribers two great exclusives with the live-action film Nicky Larson as well as the Dead Boy Detectives series which is derived from Sandman. Without too many surprises, these new programs managed to enter the top 10 films and the most watched TV shows in France. This is of course not a guarantee of quality in itself, but it proves the appeal for these excluded people.

What's new to watch on Netflix for week 18? The firm with the red N that you take out the popcorn to enjoy the latest film from the master of suspense: M. Night Shyamalan. The director of Sixième Sens, Unbreakable and Knock at the Cabin which arrives on May 1 on the video streaming service. The story ? A family vacation at a cabin turns ugly when intruders knock on the door with an unthinkable request. And we won't say more.
There will also be a biopic on the same day, Bohemiam Rahpsody, about the group Queen. A feature film which obviously bears the name of one of the band's best-known pieces. But Netflix also plans to highlight Jujutsu Kaisen in a very good way with, to begin with, the film Jujutsu Kaisen 0. If you like to thrill, the horror film Barbarian, which was a hit in the United States, is also in the April 29 releases. to May 5, 2024.

Netflix series from April 29 to May 5, 2024
The new Netflix releases from April 29 to May 5, 2024 are quite full of series with Fiasco. Igor Gotesman's new project with Pierre Niney and Géraldine Nakache, among others. “On the set of his first film, a director sees the experience turn into a nightmare, and the making-of team records everything: hiccups, threats and attempts to sabotage”. A future audience hit? Knowing that it is a series from the director of Family Business, it is quite possible. We said it above but Jujutsu Kaisen will have a unique exhibition with the addition of film 0, and also season 1 of the animated series.
But the Netflix release schedule also reserves other Japanese anime with another cult license: Dr Stone. These two franchises will mix with T-PBON, a completely new animated show, and the Next Generation Justice League which is based on the DC comic Young Justice.

Docs and shows from April 29 to May 5, 2024
As usual, we conclude these Netflix additions of the week with documentaries and reality TV shows. If you are a fan of the survival game Koh Lanta, you probably know Claude Dartois. One of the emblematic candidates of the TF1 program. Today he is the head of Mauvais Joueurs. A strategy game where participants are ready to win everything 150,000 and kept the comfort of a dream villa. The final episodes are coming. Season 3 of Selling the OC, which follows real estate agents in the sale of very high-end properties, is scheduled for May 3 on Netflix. Finally, there will also be the Secrets of Neanderthal doc.
