Warhorse Studios recently announced the role-playing game “Kingdom Come Deliverance 2”. There are now new details that make it clear once again what is in store for the fans. This includes diversity.

For many RPG fans, Thursday was a real highlight of the week: With Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 the developer has Warhorse Studios the successor long awaited by many fans of the now six-year-old role-playing epic announced. Included were details that all sound very promising.

Wide range of ethnic groups and different characters

In one Interview with IGN magazine Tobias Stolz-Zwilling from Warhorse Studios spoke up to give a more comprehensive look at “Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2”.

In terms of story and ethnic diversity, fans can expect interesting changes. The developers apparently attach great importance to diversity in the fictional world of the role-playing game.

“The story and plot of Kingdom Come: Deliverance have evolved,” said Stolz-Zwilling. “It’s darker, deeper and more cinematic; also crueler, with important decisions and twists to challenge the player’s conscience.”

“Nevertheless, it retains its humor and very grounded approach. […] “In a place like this, people can expect a variety of ethnicities and different characters that Henry meets throughout his journey,” he further explained.

Stolz-Zwilling also emphasized that the game world will be about twice as large as its predecessor. It is divided into two separate maps. Accordingly, the adventurers are likely to spend significantly more time in the medieval realms than they still do on the first “Kingdom Come: Deliverance.”“.

When will Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 be released?

According to current plans, “Kingdom Come Deliverance 2” will be released towards the end of this year for the PC and consoles – including the PlayStation 5. However, there is no specific release date yet.

If possible, Warhorse Studios only wants to announce the exact date once the work has reached an important internal milestone. Fans should therefore not expect the release before autumn 2024.
