Stremousov said that the Kherson region is no longer under the jurisdiction of Ukraine
The authorities of the Kherson region refused to recognize Yaroslav Yanushevich appointed by Kyiv to the post of governor of the lost region. This was stated by the deputy head of the regional administration Kirill Stremousov, reports RIA News.
As Stremousov explained, the Kherson region is actually no longer under the jurisdiction of Ukraine, so the personnel decisions made by the Kyiv authorities do not apply to the region. According to him, the Kherson authorities “generally do not take any statements of the Kyiv regime seriously.”
Stremousov called Yanushevich a “virtual governor” and a “dummy” and expressed confidence that he would “never come to the Kherson region.”
