A dark anti-hero who shoots wildly with all kinds of firearms sounds like the perfect role for Keanu Reeves. If we're honest, he's already played one or two of them. This isn't about John Wick 5 or The Matrix 5, but Sonic 3.
You read that right: Keanu Reeves has been cast in the third part of the successful game adaptation. In Sonic 3, Shadow the Hedgehog lends his voice – like, among other things The Hollywood Reporter and Variety confirm.
Finally give this hedgehog a weapon!
In case you're wondering who or what Shadow is supposed to be: The hedgehog was introduced in 2001's Sonic Adventure as a dark reflection of Sonic and definitely has a certain early 2000s edginess. Shadow is actually one of Dr. Robotnik created an artificial creature with a penchant for firearms.

Shadow is seen as an anti-hero rather than a villain in the Sonic games, but he will still appear as a villain in the third Sonic movie. He not only has to deal with Sonic (Ben Schwartz) personally, but also with Tails (Colleen O'Shaughnessey) and Knuckles (Idris Elba).
Of course, it fits that Shadow was already teased in a post-credit scene in Sonic 2 and Alyla Browne will appear as Maria Robotnik in Part 3 – the character already played a key role in the creation of Shadow in the original.
Reunion with Keanu Reeves and Idris Elba
