Briefly noted: Microsoft made an out-of-band update available for download yesterday as KB5037017. KB5039705 increases the version number to 17763.5830. This is an update for Windows 11 1809 Enterprise (IoT LTSC), or Server 2019
- This update resolves a known issue related to the English (United States) language pack. If your device does not have this pack, installing KB5037765 fail. The error code is 0x800f0982However, this issue may also affect devices that have this language pack. In this case, the error code is 0x80004005.
KB5037765 is the May security update that caused problems and was then withdrawn/blocked by Microsoft. This “hotfix” is intended to correct the problem.
