So a quick beta before the release preview takes over in 23H2. Microsoft released a new update as KB 5030305 tonight. This will update the build number to 22631.2338 (with new features) or 22631.2338 (without new features). Corrections have been made in both versions.
Changes and corrections in Windows 11 22631.2338
- Corrected an issue that caused some Insiders to see untranslated text in some areas of the system, including File Explorer and Settings. If you continue to have problems with translations, please submit feedback.
Taskbar and systray
- With this build, chat is now introduced as Microsoft Teams – Free. Microsoft Teams – Free is pinned to the taskbar by default and can be unpinned to the taskbar like other applications.
- Fixed an issue where dragging application icons on the taskbar would sometimes cause explorer.exe to crash.
- Fixed an issue that caused labels to appear unexpectedly in the taskbar for some Insiders.
- Fixed an issue that resulted in Task Manager not starting for some Insiders.

- Fixed an issue for Dark Mode users where a white flash would appear when opening File Explorer.
- Fixed an issue where the command bar and context menu icons were very difficult to see after switching between dark and light modes.
- We’ve made some additional improvements to improve performance when loading Home. Additionally, a memory leak related to Home that occurred every time Home was updated or entered was corrected.
- Settings Corrected an issue where Settings could not boot into Safe Mode for some Insiders.
- Task Manager Fixed an issue where the dialog when collecting a process memory dump incorrectly indicated that a kernel memory dump was being collected.
- Dynamic lighting Fixed an issue where the first update to a build with dynamic lighting might not display the notification that dynamic lighting is enabled.
