Jurassic World Evolution 3 is really coming! Developer Frontier Developments has now officially announced this. There's already a release period and Dinopark fans don't have to wait too long anymore.
We summarize all the known information about JWE3 and also what Frontier has announced about other game plans.
This is what we know about Jurassic World Evolution 3
When does it appear? The release period is between June 2025 and May 2026, a specific date is not yet known. The first Jurassic World Evolution was released in June 2018, the second in November 2021.
What's inside? Nothing has been announced yet about the exact content, but we can assume that the familiar gameplay principle will be continued: you build your own dinosaur park, dig up new fossils, clone giant lizards from them, put them in enclosures and fulfill the wishes of your visitors.

The film studio Universal Pictures is working again, so new dinosaurs from the next movie will probably end up in the game. It is scheduled to start on July 2, 2025 in the USA. There is no trailer yet.
While the new films receive relatively little love from fans (and our dinosaur freak Steffi), the JWE games have been very popular so far and are among Frontier's most successful titles. Part 1 has 84 percent positive Steam reviews, part 2 even has 88 percent. The impressively lifelike dinosaurs in particular cause a lot of cheering – also in our test.

On the other hand, the games do not offer nearly as much design freedom as other building sims from Frontier, such as Planet Zoo and Planet Coaster with their modular building options. It remains to be seen whether more of these elements will be adopted in JWE3.
Even more building games
Anyone hoping for other building simulations from the studio, which is extremely experienced in the genre, can also hope for good news soon: Frontier wants to release a new game every year, the next one (not yet announced) will be released between June 2024 and May 2025. Maybe there will be an announcement at Summer Game Fest?
This means that the time for the new Planet Zoo DLCs is probably coming to an end, and the developers are now likely to gradually move on to new projects. Of course, the construction fans are already speculating wildly about what will come next: Planet Coaster 2? A completely new brand? We'll tell you as soon as we know more. Do you have any ideas?
