When will Call of Duty 2024 be revealed? After the rumors about the open world and the era, a new leak gives additional clues. It could well be Black Ops 6.
Like every time at this time of year, Activision's FPS is in the news. Even if there have been hiccups, the publisher has often chosen the month of May to unveil or at least tease the next games in its flagship license. So everyone expects Call of Duty 2024 to be made official soon. But will this be the case? The noose seems to be tightening with these new discoveries, but nothing is yet 100% certain.

Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Gulf War announced in May?
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is far from convincing and is more like a big DLC than a real complete new game with its share of new features. Activision will therefore have to work extra hard to forget this failure and reconcile fans with the license. And according to rumors, the publisher would be willing to take a huge risk with an open world episode. Even though the more open missions of Modern Warfare 3 have been criticized by players.
The difference with MW3 is that the game would be entirely designed for this approach. According to rumors, Call of Duty 2024 could resemble Ubisoft's Far Cry franchise, and would take place during the Gulf War. This opus would notably feature Operation Desert Storm carried out against Iraq by the United States. So far, no definitive name has been given, but the game could be called Call of Duty Black Ops 6: Gulf War or Black Ops 6 at all. In the image below, which was datamined via the latest Warzone update, we can see “Sally 6” on the barrel of the gun.
In addition to this discovery, there is another reference which leads on the trail of a near revelation. The patch files contain lines of code marked “s3_cerberus_reveal”, Cerberus being the code name for this CoD 2024. In all likelihood, the game could debut as early as May, but would not really be revealed until next June during the Xbox Showcase 2024.
Zombies mode available in advance?
This Call of Duty Black Ops 6: Gulf War would already have a release window planned for October 2024, and would bring back the essential Zombies mode with rounds. And there is some important information about it. If Windows Central sources are to be believed, Activision could offer early access for several weeks, and not just several days, to all those who pre-order the title. Finally, Internet user Charlie Intel shared another leak which involves the operator Frank Woods. The character could obviously make his return with Black Ops 6 as a pre-order bonus.
