This week marks the start of the new series “Knuckles”. The first ratings from the international magazines reveal whether the wait was worth it.

Lots of Sonic fans have marked April 26, 2024 in their calendar. On this day, the new series “Knuckles” celebrates its long-awaited debut. The adventures of the iconic Echidna warrior don't start in Germany until April 27th.
But is it even worth watching the episodes? The first ratings from international magazines provide an answer to this.
How good is Knuckles?
On the Online portal from Rottentomatoes.com So far only ten reviews including the respective ratings for “Knuckles” have been received. Nevertheless, an initial picture of the mood emerges. The critics don't really agree so far, opinions sometimes differ quite widely.
The magazine But why? For example, he is very enthusiastic: “Knuckles is not a must to prepare for Sonic the Hedgehog 3. But for fans of Idris Elba’s Knuckles and a feel-good series, it’s definitely worth a closer look.”
Also We Got This Covered is very impressed with the series and gives it four out of a maximum of five points, which actually also speaks for a great success. But not all magazines are so positive – quite the opposite.
Is Knuckles too childish?
At Digital Mafia Talkies “Knuckles” doesn’t come off nearly as well as some other testers: “To make matters worse, it’s more boring and not as entertaining as the two movies.” But it gives it a measly rating of 2/5.
Also the critics of SuperHeroHype can't do too much with the series. Of the ten published reviews, seven are positive in nature, three reviews are clearly negative.

However, it can be assumed that the metascore of “Knuckles” will change over the next few days. Numerous magazines have not yet given a rating, and the fans' opinions in particular should be very interesting.
