On January 23, Xiaomi TVs of the new TV A2 series will start selling in Russia. They are equipped with screens ranging from 32 to 55 inches with 4K resolution and are relatively cheap.
Prices for Xiaomi TV A2:
- 32-inch – 15,990 rubles
- 43-inch – 27,990 rubles
- 50-inch – 32,990 rubles
- 55-inch – 39,990 rubles
The TVs use matrices with a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels, a refresh rate of 60 Hz, 90 percent coverage of DCI-P3 space and support for HDR10 and Dolby Vision. The power of the built-in audio system is 12 watts. The only exception is the younger model – it has a screen with a resolution of 1366 × 768 pixels and 10-watt speakers.
The hardware base for most TVs of the Xiaomi TV A2 series has become a system with four ARM Cortex-A55 cores and ARM Mali G52 MP2 graphics, 2 GB of RAM and a 16 GB drive. There are also Bluetooth 5.0 modules and Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, there are HDMI 2.0 ports, two USB 2.0 Type-A ports, one RJ-45 Ethernet connector, a 3.5 mm audio jack and a set of composite ports. The 32-inch model has a more modest Mali G31 MP2 graphics chip.
All models run on Android TV 10 with Xiaomi proprietary settings. There is a built-in Play Store app store, Google Assistant voice assistant and support for wireless video and audio streaming using Chromecast technology.
At first, only the 43-inch model will go on sale, and later Xiaomi will bring all the rest to Russia.
