Finally endgame for the new world – the finale of Anno 1800

Genre: Development strategy | Release: April 16, 2019 | Price: 15 euro (reduced by 75 percent, valid until April 29th)

If you have looked at GameStar.de in the past week, you may have come across one or two articles about Anno 1800. No wonder, because Ubisoft's building strategy game is celebrating its 5th birthday and we're celebrating hard for two whole weeks.

But now to the game: Anno 1800 takes you to the beginnings of… industrial age. As with its predecessors, you start the game with a single ship and enough material for your first office, as well as a few huts and the first production areas.

In your growing city, you take care of the needs of your residents, who can advance to higher categories of workers. Through these advancements you can then access new resources and goods, establish production chains and trade.

You protect your transport routes with warships from pirates and competing factions, who can also be real players in multiplayer. In the main game you also conquer the New World and across various paid addons There are also other regions such as Africa and Antarctica.

The expansions are currently also reduced on Steam. Our Anno experts have broken down which ones are most worthwhile for you in this overview.

Tip: The four predecessors of Anno 1800 can also be found on Steam as a History Edition. They cost as a bundle 18 euros (reduced by 61 percent), but you can buy them individually.
