In June, some games will be dropping from the PS Plus Extra and Premium libraries. An overview that has now been published reveals which games will be affected this time.
They have been standing since last Tuesday May games from the PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers available for download ready. At the same time, some games were removed from the subscription. Further departures will follow in June.

However, Sony does not remove games from the libraries without warning PlayStation PlusUsually, a mark is made in the month before and the PlayStation Store summarizes in a list which games have come to their “last chance”. This also applies to the games that will be discontinued in June 2024.
The Rockstar blockbuster “GTA 5” will be among the games to be removed from the PS Plus Extra library, which Premium members also have access to, next month. This is of course not an indication of an imminent Release of “GTA 6”. Because this will not take place until autumn 2025.
Members of the higher-priced tiers will also have to say goodbye to “MotoGP 23” and “The Wild at Heart” next month.

It remains to be seen whether it will only be these games. The list of May departures also increased over time, so that at the end played significantly more games than initially expected.
When will the listed games be removed from the libraries? This usually happens on the day new additions to the PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers are activated. This would be June 18, 2024 next month.

What happens next with PS Plus in June cannot only be answered by a crystal ball. New Essential games are released on the first Tuesday of each month and announced a week in advance. The procedure is repeated two weeks later with PS Plus Extra and Premium.

In the meantime, players can expect a reduction in membership fees. Starting soon apparently the Days of Playwhich will include discounts for PS Plus Essential, Extra and Premium.
