The Star Wars reboot in cinemas will be one of the most exciting Hollywood projects of all time. After Disney acquired the rights to the star saga from creator George Lucas for around $4 billion, the Mickey Mouse company managed to sell the brand in cinemas within just a few years. Everything should be different with the new Star Wars films.
When is a new Star Wars film coming to cinemas?
The time will probably finally come in 2026. The Madalorian & Grogu continues the story of the Star Wars series on Disney Plus; a fourth season has been postponed for the time being in favor of a movie. Next to “Episode 10”, Daisy Ridley's comeback as Rey Skywalker, and “The Heirs of the Empire, the Mandoverse film, there should be another potential star saga blockbuster.

The planned new Star Wars film from director J ames Mangold (Logan – The Wolverine, Indiana Jones and the Wheel of Destiny) takes place around 25,000 years before Episode 1. The film tells the story of the very first Jedi. And apparently an important Disney employee revealed the name of the new Star Wars film in the cinema.
