Huawei Watch Ultimate smartwatch introduced. Looks like an Apple Watch Ultra hybrid with a Rolex Submariner

As part of today’s large-scale presentation of hardware innovations, the Chinese gadget manufacturer Huawei showed a new flagship smart watch Huawei Watch Ultimate for professional divers and other fans of extreme sports.

The Huawei Watch Ultimate features a massive circular 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 1Hz to 60Hz. The huge body holds a large 530 mAh battery for wearable devices. This provides up to 14 days of battery life under normal usage. The watch is charged via Qi wireless charging in just 60 minutes (0-100%).

Like other modern wearable gadgets, Huawei Watch Ultimate is equipped with sensors for measuring heart rate, blood oxygen and ECG.

The strength of this watch is waterproof. The case is made up of 16 water-resistant layers, so Watch Ultimate can withstand extreme deep sea pressure. The gadget has received all certifications of compliance with ISO 22810 and EN13319 waterproof standards. They can dive to a depth of 100 m and stay there for up to 24 hours.

The custom-designed Expedition Mode in Huawei Watch Ultimate utilizes the capabilities of dual-frequency five-system GNSS positioning to ensure that waypoints and geolocations are always displayed accurately.

The case of the new Huawei watch is made of liquid metal based on zirconium, the bezel is made of ceramic, and the display is protected by sapphire crystal.

Huawei Watch Ultimate will go on sale in China from April 3 in two versions – Expedition Black (with a rubber strap) for 5999 yuan (~67,500 rubles) and Voyage Blue (with a metal strap) for 6999 yuan (~78,500 rubles).
