Enable developer options on your smartphone to take advantage of advanced Android features.
Well known to hackers, the developer mode of Android smartphones allows users to access certain advanced functions of their device. However, due to the risks that the use of these “developer options” may represent, they are disabled by default on all Android devices. Although they are completely useless in the context of traditional Android use, their activation may become necessary when you seek to access certain advanced features of your smartphone. It is indeed behind this specific mode that hide the options allowing access to USB debugging, advanced system customization, or even the configuration of processor parameters.
Once enabled, the Developer Options should be used with care: only use the features there if you know exactly what you are doing. Otherwise, you run the risk of ending up with an unstable or even unusable device. The following manipulations were performed on a Pixel smartphone running Android 13.
