Like Netflix, Prime Video or Disney+, Apple TV+ welcomes new films, series and documentaries every month. Here is the release schedule for May 2024.
The Apple firm is better known for its iPhone, iPad or iMac, but launched into SVOD in 2019 with Apple TV+. A video streaming platform that is basically similar to all the others. But in form, it's completely different. This is based solely on exclusive and original content. No need to look for classics by Spielberg, Tarantino or others, you won't find them. What's new on Apple TV+ in May 2024? Unlike other SVOD services, releases can be counted on the fingers of one hand. Literally. The other big Apple TV+ release in May 2024 is the limited series The Big Cigar about the founder of the Black Panthers. It traces the escape of Huey Newton to Cuba, who fled the FBI, with the help of producer Bert Schneider. The television shows Acapulco and Trying also return with seasons 3 and 4, while Apple TV+ will host the documentary Hollywood and the Queen of Scam.
