It's nothing new that actors often need to get their bodies in shape before big films. This was the case with Henry Cavill and his latest action film The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. However, his training wasn't just about steely muscles and low fat. There is also talk of his mustache.
The result is impressive
Henry Cavill is interviewed about the new action film The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare CinemaBlend He talked about his noticeable upper lip hair. In a dialogue with Sean O'Connell he proudly said:
I always had the idea of a big beard and mustache. Of course it needs time to grow (…). I always wanted that twisted, swirled, waxed mustache look. And that requires training.

By training, Cavill actually doesn't mean the time that Schnorres needed to grow. We're talking about classic training in the sense that tasks are repeated in order to get better or achieve a certain goal. But it's best to let him explain it to you himself:
Not only does it take training to figure out how much wax to apply and how I want the mustache to look. The actual hair itself also needs to be trained to stay in place.
If I just came to set without training the mustache, it would never hold the position. As soon as it gets warm, the wax would melt and you would end up with a limp thing. And that's why it was all part of the plan and it turned out pretty well.
In fact, the mustache fits like a one. It remains to be seen whether you will see Henry Cavill in other films with a hairy facial feature in the future. The actor definitely seems to be enjoying it.
However, it must first be clarified when and whether you can even see his latest film. The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare was released in cinemas on April 19, 2024, but only in the USA. And despite positive reviews, things are looking bad for a theatrical release in this country.
