The developers at Arrowhead have made the next patch for the successful co-op shooter “Helldivers 2” available for download under version number 1,000,304. As can be seen from the official changelog, various causes of crashes will be fixed, among other things.

After the successful co-op shooter “Helldivers 2” continued in recent weeks various updates has been provided, the next patch is now available for download.
This upgrades the shooter to version 1,000,304 and, according to official information, fixes various errors. On the one hand, the makers of Arrowhead tackled bugs that could lead to crashes in isolated cases. Furthermore, the error that caused players to get stuck in the mission summary should be a thing of the past.

The update 1,000,304 at a glance
Crashes:
- Fixed a crash that occurred when the host left the game after a player joined during the session.
- Fixed an occasional crash in the loadout menu.
- Fixed a rare crash when switching to or from the ship.
Other corrections:
- Fixed an issue where players would get stuck on the mission summary screen when the host exited the game.
- Fixed an issue where unpurchased Over Credits were not displayed in the Warbond overview screen (only relevant for the Japanese version).
- Optional account linking is now available in the account section of the game settings.
- Fixed issue where 'Steam AppId invalid or not allowed' was displayed due to another error.
- Fixed an issue that resulted in weapon attachments appearing as purple question marks in the tutorial in some cases.
- Airburst's proximity explosion is now only triggered by enemies & Helldivers.
- The AR-61 Tenderizer now has the correct color scheme.
In keeping with the release of today's update, the developers pointed out that they are currently working on fixing other known bugs. This includes the problem that medals and excess credits are sometimes paid out a little too late. In addition, the distribution of experience points should be corrected, as in individual cases it awards too much XP.
“Helldivers 2” was released for the PC and PS5 at the beginning of February. In the last few months, the co-op shooter has become one of the surprise hits of 2024.
As Sony announced in the current annual report, “Helldivers 2” sold until the beginning of May more than twelve million times.
