Anyone already in early access Hades 2 progresses far enough, at some point a resource will be called Thalamus need. In contrast to the other materials, the plant is not quite as obvious to find.

It is absolutely necessary in order to survive the supposedly most difficult region of Hades 2 for longer than just a few minutes. But don't worry, we'll help and tell you, where you find thalamus and why only a certain “deity” is useful for this.
Hades 2: Where to find Thalamus?
So that you in the Overworld If you don't constantly lose life energy in Hades 2, you have to cast a special magic formula in the brewing kettle. The problem? This won't work without the thalamus, but there are no real clues as to where you can find the rare herb. However, the search is not overly complicated.
They don't look tasty, but they're necessary: primal seeds in Hades 2.
To get Thalamus you need: Primal seeds. You won't find these in the usual regions of Hades 2, but only at chaos personal. Those familiar with the predecessor will probably still know the embodiment of the void, and chaos is also on board in the sequel as soon as you have killed the first boss of the game.

You can enter it Realm of Chaos but only via special gates that appear every now and then on individual levels. This always costs you a little life energy, unless you force such a gate to be opened for you at a well in Charon for a small fee.
Once you arrive at Chaos, you can use the Silver spade Dig into the mounds of earth and get primal seeds. At the crossroads you now only have to grow the seeds in a bed, successfully complete seven levels in one run and then you can Harvest thalamus – in total you get two pieces per seed.
What is Thalamus needed for in Hades 2?
Thalamus is next moss, Nightshade and lotus used to perform the incantation “Unraveling the Threads of Fate” at the Brew Kettle in Hades 2. This is necessary so that you can avoid permanent damage in the overworld region and reach Olympus sooner or later.
Thalamus is currently not required for further applications or additional incantations. Of course, that can change during the early access of Hades 2, because the Item description suggests this to some extent. So you shouldn't throw excess thalamus into the bin, but rather store it first – the plant doesn't really take up any space in your inventory anyway.
