GTA 6: Rockstar made a mistake

» Watch video: Floating lamp in the GTA 6 trailer

No detail will be missed by the waiting GTA fans.

Although GTA 6 is scheduled to be released in November 2026, there is still no third trailer with real gameplay. So fans are doing what they do best and checking every pixel of the previous trailers for new information. They now even discover a real bug.

This is how you find the bug in GTA 6

You can discover the error at the end of the second trailer. Jason jumps onto Lucia’s car and can barely hold on. If you stop exactly at the 2:30 minute mark, you can see a street lamp in the background that is not connected to the ground, but is simply floating in the air.

Not found yet? We have marked the floating lantern again for you in a brightened picture:

GTA 6 is and remains an open world game

Grand Theft Auto 6 is probably the most hotly anticipated media product of all time and developer Rockstar is very careful about what material it shows on the game. Nevertheless, a bug crept into the trailer, which currently has 163 million views.

However, GTA 6 fans are calm about it. User GeneProfessional9862 is even reminded that the new Grand Theft Auto is still a video game (view on Reddit). With its massive open world and so many NPCs, fans are sure to encounter many more bugs after release.

Maybe Rockstar has simply oriented itself towards reality:

What’s next for GTA 6?

Actually, GTA 6 should have been released at the end of May. However, Rockstar has postponed the game until November. They probably wanted to fix bugs like the floating streetlight over time.

Since the second trailer over a year ago, Rockstar has been completely silent again. In the meantime it looked as if the pre-orders would actually start, but nothing happened. So fans will have to keep waiting and analyzing the few minutes of play there are.
