The release of GTA 6 is still months away, but the important consoles are becoming more and more expensive.
The big gameplay reveal of GTA 6 has boosted the hype for the open-world game even further. The first Netflix-exclusive trailer proves how incredibly good the game looks on the PS5. However, if you want to experience the game in an even more beautiful form on the PS5 Pro, you currently have bad cards.
The PS5 Pro is hard to get
The currently most powerful games console is practically no longer available for the normal price of 900 euros. It is currently no longer available in the PlayStation Store (view at Sony) and the retailer Coolblue no longer has the console on offer (view at Coolblue).
Buying a PS5 Pro is therefore really expensive: the console is now sold on Amazon for 1,319 euros (view on Amazon). Marketplace offers at MediaMarkt demand even higher prices. Here, 1,677 euros or even 1,847 euros are due (see at MediaMarkt).

Buy PS5: Will it get worse?
The hype around GTA 6 is huge. Market research firm Sensor Tower found that pre-orders increased by more than 400 percent following the Netflix trailer. Many players are also likely to aim for a PS5 Pro, on which the game is expected to run more stable or look better (Source: NotebookCheck).
GTA 6 should also look extremely good on the normal PS5. According to Rockstar, at least the gameplay trailer was recorded on the standard console. The prices for the normal PS5 have not yet increased, but that could change before the release.
However, initial previews of the game report that GTA 6 will only run at 30 FPS on the PS5. It is unclear whether the PS5 Pro can deliver more. However, due to the complex game world, fans shouldn’t get their hopes too high.
GTA 6 is scheduled to release on November 19th for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
