The theory sounds completely absurd, but a Reddit post leads the GTA 6 community to suspect the map of GTA 6 in a harmless painting.
A painting completely throws fans off their game
A Reddit thread is causing excitement in the GTA 6 community. Fans believe that a Actually painting the map of GTA 6 could show. The post in the r/GTA6 subreddit reached more than 4,200 upvotes within a short period of time (as of July 17, 2026).
The image is a painting from the new GTA Online DLC “The Kortz Center Heist”. The painting is not directly part of the Heist and is not loot, but it does appear in the DLC.
The creator of the post compares the image to the community’s unofficial GTA 6 map. Fans try individual shapes and eye-catching Assign contours to specific regions. A small structure to the right of the painting reminds a user of Vice Beach. Others recognize the keys in the raised leg at the bottom right.
Click through the pictures and compare the painting with the GTA 6 community map:
Coincidence or hidden card?
However, the theory has a big catch. Rockstar has not confirmed that the painting has anything to do with GTA 6. The community works with comparisons and tries to place shapes from the image onto the well-known map reconstruction.
That’s exactly what makes things so interesting. GTA 6 fans have been reconstructing the game world from trailers, screenshots and publicly visible information for years. The community map now contains numerous suspected locations and regions in Leonida.
At the same time The comparison seems rather absurd. Many Reddit users comment with different gifs that are intended to demonstrate individual players’ longing for supposed GTA 6 information.
A single image is apparently enough to get fans searching every pixel for the next clue some of them turn the wheel.
