Grand Theft Auto VI: Rumor: Bigger performance is imminent

The first trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI blew up the entire internet. Within a very short time, the video published in December 2023 became the most viewed video game announcement within 24 hours. During this period, the trailer reached 100 million clicks.

However, things became very quiet about GTA 6 after its release. Rockstar Games is probably working hard on the title in order to be able to actually meet the release in 2025. In addition, the studio is probably very careful not to fall victim to leaks, as has been the case several times in the past.

However, all this caution does not protect against supposed errors. Four screenshots, the cover and a placeholder for the ESRB rating of Grand Theft Auto VI were recently spotted on the official Rockstar homepage. The studio has now removed the information from the front end, but the information can still be found in the source code.

Apparently a technician from Rockstar Games was a bit hasty in activating it. In IT, it is not unusual to prepare websites in order to ensure that activation runs as smoothly as possible at a certain point in time. It is not uncommon for the relevant page to go live.

Now the rumor mill about Grand Theft Auto VI is boiling over again. When will we see a new trailer? What do the four screenshots show? What is the release date? The Take-Two conference call on May 16, 2024 is considered a hot candidate for fresh information. We will of course keep you up to date!
