Google is delaying the return to the office once again

Google employees in the United States will not have to return to the office on January 10, reports CNBC. The idea was previously that a hybrid model would take effect on January 10, where employees would be in the office three days a week.

However, Google encourages employees to come into the office if it feels appropriate to reconnect with colleagues and “build muscle memory” from working in the office.

Google has opened up 90 percent of its offices in the United States in recent weeks and close to 40 percent of the workforce has returned to the office to some extent.

Google has previously told its employees in Europe, the Middle East and Africa that they have chosen to postpone their return to the office due to the new omikron variant.
