What is GTA 4 about?

Niko Bellic comes after a long ship crossing as an immigrant in the American city Liberty City and is greeted there by his cousin Roman, who is heavily in debt to the Russian mafia.

So that Roman doesn't have all of his bones broken, we give him a hand and help him help the gangsters with all sorts of shady jobswhich take us deeper and deeper into the underworld of Liberty City and thus one step towards Niko's actual goal: to find the man who betrayed him and his comrades in the war.

In the two DLCs, however, we take on the role of two other people who Niko runs into during his time in Liberty City: Johnny Klebitz and Luis Lopez.

Johnny is part of the biker gang The Lost and has to assert himself against rival gangs, while Luis, as assistant to nightclub owner Tony Prince, tries to stop him from doing all sorts of nonsense and solve his problems.
