Games Workshop reveals “Warhammer Skulls” showcase lineup for Japan

Since this morning, we have been bringing you new Warhammer-related information, including “Warhammer 40,000: SPACE MARINE 2” and “Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus II.” Games Workshop has now issued a press release outlining the announcements for the “Warhammer” video game showcase, “Warhammer Skulls,” for the Japanese market.

The Warhammer Skulls showcase returned today, revealing a ton of world premieres, updates and announcements for all Warhammer video game fans to enjoy.

Hosted by Rahul Kohli of The Haunting of Bly Manor, Midnight Mass and Death and Other Details fame, the eighth showcase also saw the highly anticipated sequel to Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus revealed in a thrilling new CGI trailer, as well as the global announcement that Talisman 5th Digital Edition would be arriving alongside an updated version of the physical board game.

A lineup of exciting titles was also revealed. Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 released not one but two exciting trailers showcasing new PVP and PVE modes and the launch of digital preorders on PC and consoles. And Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader announced that its first DLC, Void Shadows, will be released on August 8th. Warhammer 40,000: Speed ​​Freeks, the world premiere of Warhammer Skulls, revealed its release date and a playable beta demo during Skulls on Steam.

Additionally, Blood Bowl 3 revealed a new faction, Necromantic Horror, as part of the new Season 5, coming to cross-platform play on June 11, and 4X Warhammer 40,000: Gladius released the Demolition Pack DLC, which includes 11 new units.

Also announced at the showcase:

  • Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector” – The next faction, Astra Militarum, was announced and released with free units as part of Warhammer Skulls.
  • Warhammer: Vermintide 2” – Winds of Magic’s major QoL game update coincides with the launch of the Skulls Throne event and rewards for Warhammer Skulls. On May 30th, the next Alpha for the new PVP mode “Vermintide Versus” will be available!
  • Warhammer 40,000: Darktide-A new teaser for the free update “Secrets of the Machine God” has been released, announcing its release date on June 25th.
  • Total War: Warhammer III” – Trailer for the upcoming free Legendary Hero, Karanak is here.
  • Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus』 – New expansion『Machines of WarsIt has been announced that the game will be released in June, with large units such as tanks and dreadnoughts appearing in a mobile game for the first time!
  • Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge– New faction “Adepta Sororitas” is introduced. Teasers of upcoming new content are also released.
  • Horus Heresy: Legions– New Inferno expansion released, including Leman Russ and his Space Wolves army.
  • World of Tanks: Modern Armor– The powerful Rogal Dor tank will be added to the console game.
