Cliffhanger Games, an Electronic Arts studio, has been working on a game based on the Marvel brand “Black Panther” for some time. The title was announced in July of the past year. Then the great silence began.

A job advertisement that is looking for a new employee for Cliffhanger Games is attracting a lot of attention. A principal sandbox designer should join the team. And the job description hints at what awaits players sooner or later.

Dynamic open world experience

The job description from Cliffhanger Games once again repeats a note that was made last year such an ad appeared: The new employee is supposed to take care of an open-world game. The text was supplemented with a reference to a changing world.

Accordingly, the successful applicant will be “significantly involved in the design and population, systems and gameplay in a dynamic and evolving open world”.

It continues: “Based on a deep understanding of technical design principles and a passion for creating immersive sandbox experiences, this role requires close collaboration with design teams, AI engineering and technical art departments to bring our game world to life .”

What is known about Black Panther so far?

Cliffhanger Games and Electronic Arts announced the first official information about the game as part of the announcement of “Black Panther”. Together with the job descriptions, the findings can be summarized as follows:

  • Rich superhero sandbox in the fictional state of Wakanda
