The popular building strategy game Frostpunk, which is set in an icy steampunk universe, is getting a successor.
Developer 11 Bit Studios has announced the official system requirements for the April beta of Frostpunk 2.
The good news: Even with older hardware, you can take control of one of humanity's last refuges in the game. The minimum system requirements are around a GTX 1050 Ti with 4 GB of VRAM, which came onto the market in 2016.

What resolution do the system requirements refer to?? On the official one Steam page There is no information about this yet. We assume that the information refers to a FullHD resolution.

Are ultrawide monitors supported in beta? Nope. According to the developers, there is no extensive support for ultrawide monitors. So be prepared for difficulties with the UI.

This is how you take part in the beta: Since yesterday, April 15th, everyone who pre-orders the Deluxe Edition, which costs just under 70 euros, has exclusive access for seven days. So the beta ends on April 22, 2024.
The official release for Frostpunk 2 is scheduled for July 25, 2024.
