A career start similar to many other Hollywood stars

Among the most well-known actors and actresses in Hollywood, there are quite a few who got their start in teen television series. Zendaya, long-time star of Shake It Up on Disney Channel, Ryan Gosling, for a few appearances in The Mickey Mouse Club or the series Scare Me!, or even Johnny Depp, essential figure in the series 21 Jump Street. However, we tend to omit some, like… Ryan Reynolds! It was at the age of fifteen, in 1991, that he made his first appearance in a television series called… Fifteen (Hillside, in the original version).

For thirteen episodes, the young Ryan Reynolds will lend his features to the character of Billy Simpson, a teenager who bullies his friends in reaction to the family climate in which he grows up. However, the actor confided, years later, about the discomfort he felt during filming. Far from being happy, he had even considered putting an end to his potential acting career, but the future gave him reason to have persevered on this path since he is now one of the most appreciated actors of the spectators. Currently, his schedule is rather busy with multiple releases in cinemas!

Early beginnings, a slump and a consecration: Ryan Reynolds is now shining

From now on, Ryan Reynolds is on all fronts and he is no longer content to just lend his features to numerous characters on cinema screens. In 2021 and 2023, Ryan Reynolds is setting foot in the world of sport by investing in two areas with Rob McElhenney, football and Formula 1 (also supported, for once, by Michael B. Jordan). After a few years of sluggishness, notably in the early 2010s, the Canadian actor made a life-saving comeback thanks to a handful of films including Deadpool.

Next July, the actor dons the costume of the most irreverent Marvel superhero there is, for the third time. For this third opus, Ryan Reynolds will be able to count on the participation of Hugh Jackman, famous interpreter of Wolverine since the 2000s. While waiting to be able to enjoy this new adventure, which we have already been able to briefly discover over time From a few extracts, we can always fall back on the release of Blue and Company, the new feature film by John Krasinski in which we find Ryan Reynolds alongside a whole bunch of imaginary characters… and Brad Pitt, rather well hidden.
