Dead Island 2 was previously available exclusively on the Epic Games Store, but will soon also be available on Steam. To celebrate, you can get the second game in the series for free with Dead Island: Riptide Definitive Edition – but you have to hurry.
Steam: Grab Dead Island: Riptide for free
A year after its release on the Epic Games Store, Dead Island 2 will be released on Steam on April 22, 2024. To get fans in the mood, Steam is giving away the predecessor – even in a special edition. Dead Island: Riptide Definitive Edition is that Remastered version, which includes all previously released DLC and offers advanced features such as improved graphics, models and a photorealistic lighting system. You can enjoy the game alone or team up with your friends in multiplayer mode.

Dead Island: Riptide is getting mixed up on Steam mostly positive reviews. Among other things, the combat physics are praised, but the reviews criticize that the game does not differ enough from its predecessor, Dead Island.
At Metacritic the horror survival game reaches one Score of 57. However, you can't go wrong with a free game. So if you don't own the game yet, you can free until February 15, 2024 Save (view now on Steam). The zombie hit will then probably be offered again at a price of 19.99 euros (source: Metacritic).
