Epic Games announces scheduled maintenance: Fortnite goes offline todaythe Update 29.30 is pending. The developers use social channels to announce the timetable for today's update, which includes new content and improvements for individual game modes. The downtime therefore begins at the typical time of 10 a.m. Logins and game joins will then no longer be possible. As usual, the matchmaking system switches off Epic Games half an hour earlier. At around 9:30 a.m. you will take part in the last game before the maintenance work. It is not clear from the information how long the Fortnite servers will remain down.
What's in Update 29.30?
As a rule, maintenance work is carried out on Fortnite (buy now €17.76 ) only short-lived. We therefore expect that the servers will return around lunchtime and that the battle royale shooter can then be played as usual again. During the downtime, update 29.30 is available for download – install it during maintenance so that you can start again immediately when the server returns and try out the new content. The developers have already shared initial information about the innovations. As a headline act for the Third season of Fortnite Festival is already the singer Billie Eilish confirmed.

New feature & innovations in Lego Fortnite
With Fortnite Patch 29.30 comes a new “Show confrontational emotes” setting in the BR Shooter. This allows you to choose whether you want to see certain emotes that are often used in a confrontational manner. “For players who select this setting, a player using such an emote will remain simple stand on the spot and no emote sound is played,” writes Epic Games. There are also some innovations in Lego mode. With the “Farm Friends” update you can Populating fields with animals; the number of your possible villagers is increased to ten. You can recruit cows, sheep, chickens and pigs. You build an animal stable, give them food and ensure that the animals stay happy. Over time, the animals produce fertilizer and – depending on the species – feathers, milk, wool and mushrooms.
