AMD has addressed the issue through a Reddit statement that lists the release dates for updates to fix the issues. The Preferred Cores bug fix (UEFI-CPPC2) will be released on October 21, but customers (presumably corporate customers using Threadripper or EPYC chips) may request a fix sooner.
